Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo from
Welcome to Madagascar! Upon arrival in Antananarivo you will meet our team, and transfer to your lodge. Overnight at Ecole-Lodge-Antananarivo on BB
Day 2: Antananarivo
This day is dedicated to explore the capital and surrounding with its beautiful colonial buildings, steep streets and cool climate, is a great place to wander about. There are also some excellent markets and shops that stock products and crafts from across the country at very competitive prices. Finally, Tana is the place in Madagascar to treat yourself to a fine meal: some establishments rival Europe’s Michelin-starred restaurants, but without the price tag.

Day 3: Antananarivo to Miandrivazo (380km)
All along the road you will do several stops like the visit of the aluminum smelter, rice field in terrace and upon arrival in Antsirabe, and your guide will lead you to the corners which make this city famous: historical places, local factories….Overnight at Princesse Tsiribihina on BB or similar
Day 4: Miandrivazo – Kirindy (350km)
Breakfast at the hotel, start the drive westward through dry Savanna dominated by Bismarkia palm, baobab camps and arrival at Kirindy Forest you will make the nocturnal hike. Overnight at Kirindy Lodge on BB
Day 5: drive to Bekopaka (150 km)
After breakfast, drive to Bekopaka, around lunch time you will arrive at the famous national park of Tsingy de Bemaraha.

Day 06: Visit of Tsingy de Bemaraha NP
Morning visit of the Big Tsingy this one located at 17 km from the village. This enormous UNESCO World Heritage Site protects the largest of Madagascar’s Tsingy limestone plateau and its wildlife. MNP (ex ANGAP) built impressive walkways for the park’s circuit, because of the chaotic razor-sharp pinnacles. There are cable robes, rocky steps, steel ladders and even a suspension bridge over one of the canyons. After lunch, visit of the small Tsingy located near the village.

Day 07: Bekopaka – Morondava (200 km)
Breakfast and drive back on the same way, crossing the two Rivers with ferry boat. Drive to Morondava passing by The Baobab Avenue, Baobab Amoureux, and Menabe tombs

Day 08: Morondava to Belo sur Mer (80 km)
Breakfast and drive on off road to Belo sur Mer over the Mangroves, Saline, Baobab camps, around lunch time you will reach the Fishermen village of Belo sur Mer, rest of the day is dedicated to relax and swim. Accomodation at Menabelo Lodge on (BB) or similar
Day 09: Belo sur Mer – Manja (150 km)
Breakfast and drive to Manja through the Mikea forest, some parts of the road are challenging and really fascinating, Picnic lunch will be the best and you can ask the driver to pick up some best places for that. end of afternoon you will arrive at the Manja village in where is our Far west village. Overnight at Hotel Kanto (basic) on (BB) or similar
Day 10: Manja – Andavadaoka (170 km)
Morning drive through Baobab and cactus forests, the drive this time is much more slower as the roads are so mix of rocks and sand, today we will cross as well the River of Mangoky in which represent a nice scenes of the daily life, end of afternoon you will arrive at Andavadaoka, Overnight at Laguna blue (BB) or similar
Day 11: Andavadaoka to Salary (170 km)
Morning enjoy the ocean and beginning of afternoon we will follow the sandy road to join Salary, rest of the day you will enjoy the beach and the activities offered there Overnight at Mikea Lodge (BB) or similar
Day 12: Salary to Toliara (150 km)
Morning enjoy the ocean and beginning of afternoon we will follow the sandy road Toliara, we will visit the spiny forest of Mangily, these trees on Madagascar are up to 800 years old. Locally known as “mother of the forest,” the baobab forms a micro-ecosystem of its own, supporting life for both animals and humans. Old hollow baobabs are a home to snakes, bats, bush babies, bees, and sometimes even humans. More importantly, the tree is an important source of water—it can store up to 4,000 liters of water in its trunk. For Africa, it is literally the tree of life.then drive to Isalo.and also the Local market of the Mahafaly tribe. Overnight at Bakoba Lodge (BB) or similar
Day 13: Toliara – Ranohira (about 5hours)
After breakfast, drive straight northward to Ranohira after lunch along the typical landscape of the southern part of the Island (savanna and bush). Different villages of sapphire miners will be passed by as well as well painted tombs of the southern tribe of the island with zebu horns and “Aloalo” on the top of it. Upon arrival in Ranohira, check into the hotel. By the end of the afternoon, visit of the Interpretation center of the park then sip in a beautiful Sunset at the Window of Isalo.

Day 14: Ranohira
Today after breakfast at the hotel, spend full day exploring the Isalo National Park. In the morning, walk towards the famous natural swimming pool through botanical garden and typical tombs of the Bara people who are leaving in the surrounding. In the afternoon, visit of the Namaza site and its Cascade des Nymphes. Possibility of spotting the ring tailed lemur and the red fronted brown lemur as well as some birds species as the Benson’s Rockthrush, Paradise flycatcher, common Jery, Turtle dove, Madagascar Hopooe. Overnight at Toiles de l Isalo on BB
Day 15: Ranohira – Andringitra (100km)
After breakfast at the hotel continue northward in crossing the Horombe table land. Passing by the Bishop’s hat rock formation and crossing the south gate area. around lunch time you will arrive at the Magestic Valley of Tsaranoro, this west of Andringitra national park represent an unique scenes either on local people meeting or landscapes. Overnight at Camp Catta on BB
Day 16: Andringitra
This day will be dedicated to discover The Andringotra national parc through chameleon mountain and Tsaranoro valleys. We recommend you to bring Picnc lunch Overnight at Camp Catta on BB
Day 17: Andringitra – Ranomafana(180km)
After breakfast, drive to Ranomafana and stop at the Anja Community Reserve to visit park where lemur’s park protected by the local people. Possibility of spotting the ring tailed lemur during the walk. After the visit, continue to Ambalavao. Visit of the Antemoro paper factory. After the visit continuation to Fianarantsoa with a change of the landscape which is mainly decorated by the stepped rice fields and the typical villages of the highland. Day 18: Ranomafana National Park
Today spend entire day exploring the Ranomafana National Park. There are two different areas to be visited today. To begin with, visit the main forest of the Ranomafana National Park for spotting birds and lemurs. Three species of bamboo lemurs are found in this forest (grey bamboo lemur, golden bamboo lemur and the greater bamboo lemur) as well as other lemur species as the Milen’sedwardssifaka, the common brown lemur, the red bellied lemur. There are chances you might spot as well some of the biggest chameleons in the island: the Parson’s chameleon.
Later in the afternoon, you will be driven to Vohiparara forest for spoting some endemic birds as the Cryptic warbler, the Yellow bellied asity, the Madagascar Yellow brow, Nuthatch Vanga, Madagascar forest fody, as well as lemurs.

Day 19: Ranomafana – Ambohimahasoa – Antisrabe (250km)
Today after breakfast at the hotel take a morning visit of Ranomafana National Park. Then, continue of the drive to Antsirabe. En-route in Ambositra the capital of the Malagasy handicrafts and you will have the opportunity to visit the different handicrafts shops and also the possibility of looking the local people carving woods. Further proceed to Antsirabe.

Day 20: Antsirabe –Antananarivo
Morning drive to the capital and we will reserve some time of this day to explore the capital and surrounding with its beautiful colonial buildings, steep streets and cool climate, is a great place to wander about. There are also some excellent markets and shops that stock products and crafts from across the country at very competitive prices. Finally, Tana is the place in Madagascar to treat yourself to a fine meal: some establishments rival Europe’s Michelin-starred restaurants, but without the price tag. Day use at Ecole lodge or similar and late in the evening transfer to the airport for the International flight on Day21
